Quickchiller Blast Chillers are the perfect piece of equipment for preparing frozen or chilled desserts or beverages. This self-contained, reach in unit is made of stainless steel, with 5 stainless wire shelves, which can hold up to 240 lbs. That’s spacious enough for 10 full size sheet pans or 20 full size hotel pans. It’s insulated with foamed in non-CFC polyurethane and uses R-404A refrigerant. The 5 chilling functions are Quick Freeze, Soft Chill, for less dense products, Hard Chill for more dense products, Defrost, and Holding. Chilled items in holding can be stored for up to 5 days, including the day of preparation and the day of service. The temperature range of the cooler is from -10 to 40F. That holding capacity allows you to have fewer prep times during the week, saving on labor costs. The chiller comes with 3 internal temperature probes, so you can assess temperatures of your products. It’s operated by a touch control and has a 20 recipe programmable menu. There’s a USB port on the chiller so that data, including recipes, can be down loaded.
